Ettington Park Hotel

About the Hotel

Ettington Park Hotel is a neo-Gothic country house hotel set in the Warwickshire countryside near Stratford-upon-Avon. The estate was the ancestral home of the Shirley family, whose connection with Ettington stretches back more than a thousand years, while archaeological evidence points to much earlier occupation of the site. The mansion later served as a nursing home and a prisoner-of-war camp during the Second World War before being restored as a hotel following a serious fire in 1979. Today it offers individually designed rooms, historic interiors, a restaurant and leisure facilities, and has long been associated with some of Britain’s best-known hotel ghost stories.
